Andar Bahar – Rules & How to Play

A simple, fast Indian card game: pick a side and wait for the matching card.

Min. stake from ₹100

How to play

  1. The dealer turns over one card, the joker (or “game card”), in the middle.
  2. You bet on Andar (inside/left) or Bahar (outside/right).
  3. Cards are dealt alternately to Andar and Bahar.
  4. The side that first receives a card of the same rank as the joker wins.

Payouts

Because the first card is usually dealt to one side, that side wins slightly more often, so tables often pay it a little less than even money. Exact payouts and side bets (such as betting on how many cards will be dealt) are shown on the table before each round.
